EMDR is an evidence based therapy that helps people heal from distressing life experiences, emotions, and trauma. Through eye movements or tapping the brain is able to heal from past pain. Most clients report a noticeable change in as little as 1-3 sessions.
This is a fantastic therapy alternative for individuals that are not comfortable talking about their feelings or past.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed to help individuals who struggle with intense emotional and behavioral issues, substance use disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, chronic suicidal ideation, and borderline personality disorder.

Internal family systems (IFS) therapy views the mind of being made up of different parts, like a family. Each part has it’s own thoughts, feelings, and roles. i.e. think of the movie “Inside Out.”
We all have a core “Self” that is calm, courageous, creative, compassionate, and connected to self and others.
In IFS you will get to know all your parts and understand why and how they are there to help you. All parts are welcome and there is no judgement of any of our parts. Being doing this, the Self can help heal the parts that are hurting and bring balance to your internal family.
